A space where we strive daily to deepen our understanding, and listen to each other in order to reach new insights. To get things going, we have distilled Puistokatu 4\u2019s guiding principles into four short household codes.<\/p>\n
The world and its phenomena appear so complex to us, that we don\u2019t feel tempted to examine our own connectedness to this big mess. But imagine zooming out into space, and observing this small, pale blue planet from there. Does it not become plain obvious, how we are all connected to each other and to this unique system? Could connectedness be a possibility instead of a curse?<\/p>\n

What if we adults too identified ourselves as life-long learners? At Puistokatu 4 we seek to eagerly discover new perspectives, and cross-pollinating different experiences. At the same time we will carefully steer clear from declaring any permanent results or solutions. It is all about maintaining a breathing, never-ending progress.<\/p>\n

A peer-reviewed research article is the best and most accurate window to the subject of the article. That is also the reason why one article rarely changes the world. An individual researcher, however, is an expert of synthetisising hundreds and thousands of results and can apply all that knowledge in whatever context they are at. We believe that a researcher who is an active member of society is capable of changing the world.<\/p>\n

The global ecological crisis touches us all, but our history, knowledge-base and values shape how each of us experience it. To stop silos from strengthening, we have to stop and look at things form other people\u2019s perspective and understand their reality. That is the best way to stop the opposite poles from stretching further, to make us all feel heard, and to move onto shared vision and action.<\/p>\n
